Item: Sheer Half Apron

Size: Medium. 20" waist to hem; 16" waistband with 25" ties at each side
Materials: This vintage waist-tie apron is made from a sheer white cotton, still a bit stiff. The waistband, hem, and unusual pockets (folded down like little wings) feature a cotton print in bright colors. There are leaves, pears, tulips, and fish among other motifs. Probably 1950s. This was manufactured by Penny Sherman Garments and still has the label attached (it's a bit faded so I'd say this has been washed but not used much, if at all. From an estate sale.
