Materials: I wasn't even sure what this was when I bought it but I've come to believe that it's a covered dish or pie carrier. You slip the dish inside, then tighten the strings at the sides. Heavy white cotton edged with a red, green and white print that also appears on the back side. The ties are bright red and the rickrack and top-stitching on the outside edge match this color. One very small faint yellow stain on the front; otherwise in clean and like-new condition. Age unknown.
