Item: Sheer Aqua with Flower Trim

Materials: Waist-tie apron made from a sheer aqua blue cotton that's a bit stiff. The edges, including the scalloped bottom, are doubled back and hemmed, and then trimmed with baby rick rack in a slightly darker shade. The top edge of the crescent moon-shaped pockets are done the same way. One pocket has a white daisy applique; there's another midway across the body near the hem. There probably was a third at some point on the other pocket, but it's missing now (you could move the bottom one to the pocket). The only flaw I see is that some of the stitches didn't catch the fabric on the waistband so there are places along the length that gape open—you can easily slip stitch this closed. Otherwise it's in good condition. Not sure of age—probably 1950s-60s.
