Materials: Beautiful antique needlepoint picture in it's original painted frame. The frame is quite deep and is thickly painted in off-white (looks like several coats of paint). There are a few chips here and there. Picture is done in both needlepoint and petit point and features a boy and girl kissing. Soft pastel colors on an ivory background. Picture is in very good condition; the frame could use some freshening up (or not—it has a shabby chic charm as is). Heavy cardboard backing tacked into the frame. Built in hanging loop. Early 1900s, perhaps older.
