Item: Lil' Angels Quilt Blocks

Size: approximately 8" square
Materials: One set of twelve stamped for embroidery quilt blocks with children surrounded by clouds and stars and performing simple tasks. Designs are stamped in green, red, or orange (four of each color) on off-white cotton. You'll see a few light spots here and there but you shouldn't wash them until you've completed the embroidery as the designs may wash out. The stamping on these is nice and clear. These are from the 1950s-60s and were designed to be combined into a child's quilt; they'd also make cute framed pictures or pillows. They still have the original S.S. Kresge Co. store tags attached and sold for 15¢!
