The designs in this pattern first appeared on a sheet of transfers to be stamped onto fabric and embroidered. The blocks were then combined to make a children's quilt with sashing in between the blocks or simply embroidered onto a single sheet of cloth to make a coverlet. Copies of the original directions to do this are included with this pattern.
You will receive nine designs of animals in hats—one each of a rabbit, cat, dog, horse, mouse, lamb, bear, duck, and elephant. Each is surrounded by flowers to be embroidered in lazy daisy stitch and French knots.
Each design comes on it's own 8.5" x 11" sheet and all are packaged in a resealable plastic sleeve. A basic embroidery stitch guide is also included. These are not iron-on patterns—you will need to trace them yourself.
