Can We Help?

This super cute design was taken from a 1950s stamped for embroidery children's apron. A little curly-haired girl dressed in a much-too-large apron is holding a bowl. Three little birds are trying to help. The design would make a great apron (the original, which you can see completed in the photo) had a pink-and-white striped binding) but would be cute on a pillow or the edge of a tea towel, too!
Design uses a combination of straight and outline stitches with lazy-daisy for the flower petals and leaves, and French knots for the flower centers, polkadots, and bird eyes.
This is a single-sheet pattern (8.5" x 11") and comes packaged in a resealable plastic sleeve with a basic embroidery stitch guide included. These are not iron-on patterns—you will need to trace them yourself.

This pattern is also available as a PDF. If you chose this option, you'll receive your pattern via email after I've received your payment. You must have Adobe Acrobat to view and print the files. The Embroidery Stitch Guide is not included but you'll find a downloadable copy on the embroidery pattern page.
