Bedtime Cats
This pattern was originally produced in the 1960s for LeeWards as a set of stamped-for-embroidery pillowcases called "Willing and Able". Use the designs together as originally intended or embroider them on fabric to create your own accent pillows.
This set contains two designs, each a high-quality tracing of the original stamped pillowcase. Both cats are perched on crescent moons with scattered stars to depict the night sky. The boy kitty in an old-fashioned nightshirt and cap has the word ABLE. The girl kitty wears an off-the-shoulder nightgown and holds a rose and cigarette holder. It has the word WILLING. Very cute and just a little risque (for the 60s anyway).
You'll also receive a copy of the original instruction sheet that includes color directions for DMC and C-B brand embroidery floss.
Each
design comes on it's own 8.5" x 11" sheet and all
are packaged in a resealable plastic envelope.
A basic embroidery stitch guide is also included. These are not iron-on patternsyou will need to trace them
yourself.
