FAQ
How can I pay for my purchases?
We use both PayPal and Stripe for our payment processing, so you may check out with your Paypal account or by entering your credit card information.
Is your site secure?
Yes. Whichever payment option you choose, your information remains private. In fact, we never even see your credit card number. Both services tell us that you've paid and we ship your order; they send payment directly to our bank.
Why don't I have to pay sales tax on your website?
If you shop with me on Etsy you'll have to pay sales tax because Etsy is considered a marketplace and they are required to collect sales taxes for everyone. We're not a markeplace so only have to collect 6% sales tax for residents of Pennsylvania where we are located. So, you'll acually save money by shopping here!
Shipping
I ship daily via USPS—Ground Advantage or Prority Mail to locations within the U.S. and Canada. I am not currently shipping internationally due to policies put in place by other countries. For example, I am not registered to collect VAT taxes in the UK so can no longer sell in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland and I am not registered in Germany and France for their new packaging laws. If you're located outside the U.S. and would like to shop with me, please visit my Etsy shop for similar items to the ones sold here on the website (because Etsy is a marketplace, they take care of international taxes for sellers).
If you need your items quickly, I'll be happy to upgrade your package to Priority. Email me first so I can provide accurate shipping costs to your location.
Shipping is to the address you have on file with Paypal; please double check it to make sure it's correct. If your package is returned because of an undeliverable address, I cannot resend it without paying additional postage. You are responsible for any additional fees.
International customers/Customs Fees
International packages (including those to Canada) may be subject to import taxes, duties, or customs clearance fees imposed by the destination country. As the buyer, you are responsible for paying these additional costs if applicable. As a seller, I work in compliance with the import laws and regulations of the countries I'm shipping to. This includes accurately representing the contents of your package. I cannot mark your package as a “gift” on a customs declaration form so you can avoid customs fees.
Please be aware that I'm not allowed to ship my lavender sachets internationally due to restrictions on plant products by foreign countries.
Returns
The items I sell are created from vintage materials and I make every effort to inspect materials for damage prior to working with them. But, because of their age, you can expect minor wear, imperfections, and fragility. Any noticeable flaws will be mentioned in the item description. However, if I miss something or you're otherwise unhappy with your purchase, please let me know. Refunds will be issued after the item is returned to me in it's original packaging and condition within 10 days.
There are no returns on digital downloaded embroidery patterns. If you have questions, please email me prior to ordering.
Wholesale/Consignment
Wholesale prices are available to retail shop owners only and only on handcrafted items. In order to keep prices reasonable on vintage items I don't mark them up enough to make a profit at wholesale. Please contact me for additional information on wholesale or consignment sales.
Where else can purchase your products?
I am not currently selling in any retail locations except for Etsy and the occasional craft show in the Scranton/northeast Pennsylvania area (they'll be posted on the events calender when dates are confirmed).
