This sweet little sachet features a vintage handkerchief embroidered with a border of navy blue flowers on a pink stripe. The scalloped edge also features pink embroidery. It's layered over a second handkerchief with pink crocheted edging, then over a pink and white polka dot cotton that is also used for the back. A vintage button stack—one white, one pink flower-shaped—secures the layers. It measures approximately 5" x 5".

Each of my sachets is filled with a mixture of French lavender buds and buckwheat hulls—the lavender for its intense scent and the buckwheat to make them a bit lighter for shipping. Use them to scent your linen cupboard and repel moths or keep it on your bedside table in case you have trouble falling asleep—smelling lavender is good for that. And the scent lasts for years, just give it a squeeze to refresh the scent.
