This set of two patterns originally appeared on the corners of stamped-for-embroidery towels. A rooster in a checkered apron and chef's hat carries a bowl of salad. A hen in a flowered apron carries a coffee pot and a tray of cups. Cute retro designs that would be perfect for kitchen towels or pillows.

Print out your designs, then transfer them to your fabric. I like to use a wash-away or fade-away marking pen and a lightbox or bright window to do this, but you can also use a transfer pencil designed for this purpose.
