These twelve designs were originally published in the 1950s as a set of stamped-for-embroidery quilt blocks. After embroidering the blocks, you added sashing in between and completed your quilt. You can do that with these, or use them individually for tea towels or pillows. You’ll receive designs with the following animals—bear, fawn, elephant, monkey, leopard, fox, possum, beaver, raccoon, wood-pussy (old-timey name for skunk), tiger, and hippo.

Print out your designs, then transfer them to your fabric. I like to use a wash-away or fade-away marking pen and a lightbox or bright window to do this, but you can also use a transfer pencil designed for this purpose.
