These pretty fruit designs, featuring a combination of cross stitch and traditional embroidery stitches, originally appeared on Day-of-the-Week (DOW) kitchen towels. Each features a day of the week and a fruit—peaches for Monday, apples for Tuesday, strawberries for Wednesday, plums for Thursday, cherries for Friday, grapes for Saturday, and pears for Sunday. You'll receive a copy of the original instruction sheet detailing stitches and colors to be used with this pattern.

Print out your designs, then transfer them to your fabric. I like to use a wash-away or fade-away marking pen and a lightbox or bright window to do this, but you can also use a transfer pencil designed for this purpose.
