This pretty sachet features a vintage handkerchief corner printed with white lilies, drk green leaves, and a pink polka dot border. It's layered over a second handkerchief with matching dark green crocheted edging. Underneath is a contemporary pink and green floral cotton fabric this is also used for the back. A stack of two vintage buttons—one white, one pink—secures the layers. It measures approximately 6" square.

Each of my sachets is filled with a mixture of French lavender buds and buckwheat hulls—the lavender for its intense scent and the buckwheat to make them a bit lighter for shipping. Use them to scent your linen cupboard and repel moths or keep it on your bedside table in case you have trouble falling asleep—smelling lavender is good for that. And the scent lasts for years, just give it a squeeze to refresh the scent.
